Knowledge Centre for the utilisation of research achievements

ITA activities started in the middle of 2006, a knowledge centre and then the Infota Research Institute was founded aiming at the performance of research, progress, innovation and application development activities to the best satisfaction of the professionals of the banking and, in the wider meaning, of the finance areas. They have managed to establish a respectful tradition in the areas of the theoretical development and practical application of financial IT. The technical experts of the Research Institute assume a decisive role in the Foundation; meanwhile ensure the continuity of the high quality and high standard research work. This is the basic concept constituting a background for all research areas wherefrom individual research topics, analyses and projects aim to explore different elements within the framework of Infota Research Institute working now under the umbrella of the Foundation.

The core of INFOTA’s staff is made up of colleagues possessing Ph.D. degree, looking back to several decades of scientific research and lecturing, as well as experts entertaining significant business and public administration expertise, and/or middle and senior managerial experiences. Furthermore the Research Institute involves in its activities eminent experts of specific areas of information technology, talented gradual and post-gradual students and Ph.D. students from the technical and/or economic faculties of several Hungarian universities and academies. INFOTA has succeeded in surrounding itself with a circle of highly reputed Hungarian and international external researchers and lecturers, who participate in quick recycling the areas discovered by the researches into education. They all are active contributors to a spiritual community, who maintain and mutually inseminate the research-development capacities as well as innovative-solution-sensitive attitude of the participants of this workshop.
