IT Security and Safety Management Group

Our investigations cover security components (confidentiality, intactness and spatial and temporal availability); data security (minimum intimidation of confidentiality, intactness and/or availability of data); bases of safety (understanding of perils, exposures, risks and protective measures); specific security aspects related to the protection of personal data; a security system that embraces business, production and information systems of economic organisations, within that the property, business-conduct and IT subsystems, furthermore the organisation, control, process-engineering and maintenance of any information system.

* No chartering institute exists. He has been working for 15 years as a data protection expert in, among others, the Research Team and earlier as a senior advisor of the data protection ombudsman.

The Team was established on 3 December 2002.

Objectives of the Team:

To provide technical, training and organisational support for IT safety and security management, based on a systematic approach of the security of economic organisations.

Activity plan of the expert Team:

  • Technical and organisational support for IT security manager training.
  • Technical and organisational support for electronic signature training.
  • Professional fostering of security-related curricula of the Foundation.
  • Elaboration of the portal of the expert Team, and later its operation.
  • Elaboration of recommendations for topics related to IT security management:
    • Data protection and/or data security.
    • Security support for mobile communication.
    • IT security resolutions and standards.
    • Glossary of IT terms in English and Hungarian.
